Coraline Dunks
In conjunction with LAIKA’s new movie “Coraline,” Nike will release its Coraline Nike Dunk that will be given away to lucky winners who enter a contest through Coraline.com. Not for retail and only 1,000 were made.
With animal heads and tails, buttons made exclusively for the shoe, and glow in the dark soles. The shoe is covered in details from toebox to the stitching all over the shoe. Its a great addition to any collection so TRY to get your grimey little hands on them.
Coraline was written and directed by Henry Selick and based on the internationally best-selling novel by Neil Gaiman. Nike co-founder and Chairman Philip H. Yesterday was the culmination of a lot of hard work.
The name of this event is not for nothin. It really describes all that it took to prepare it. So we want to thank not only everyone who stopped by, showed love, and enjoyed the festivities but all those who made this event possible.
We've learned a lot from this experiance, we met a lot of great people and we hope that you did too!

Alonzo Mourning, perhaps the greatest player in HEAT history, announced his retirement Thursday afternoon in a news conference at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Mourning, 38, is a likely Hall of Fame selection who spent the majority of his career - roughly 11 full years of his 15 seasons - with Miami.
The 6-foot-10 center teamed with guard Tim Hardaway and coach Pat Riley to form the basis of Miami's success of the late 1990's and early this decade. Mourning, who returned to the NBA after undergoing a kidney transplant in 2003, was a key contributor to the HEAT's only championship season in 2006.
Mourning, who will be 39 on Feb. 8, sustained a devastating knee injury on Dec. 19, 2007 in Atlanta, tearing his patella tendon and quadriceps muscle in his right leg.
"I spent the past year rehabbing and thinking about my basketball future. after 16 years I truly feel it's best I retire from the game of basketball," Mourning said Thursday. "If you've got something you love and you're passionate about it's hard to let that go."

Today marks a monumental moment. Marking of a new beginning in American History and the hopes of American citizens throughout.
I don't think americans have had this much hope since President Abraham Lincoln.
Considered one of the best and most amazing presidents the United States has ever had, Barack Obama, who has been compared to Lincoln in almost every way, will soon take presidential office.
I'm personally not one to get involved in politics too much.
I can go on and on about how corrupt I think it is.
But today I will honestly say I can put my militant beliefs aside to see a change in government.

RandumbMiami would have been proud and honored to be a part of the celebration in Washington but unfortunatly I think tickets were sold out even before he was announced president. But we are proud to be alive and breathing to witness, even if I'ts thousands of miles away, a moment like this.

A man has inspired hope amongst turmoil. A strong hope I might add.
We can only hope....that Mr. Obama comes through. Americans are tired of false promises and expecting failure.
I dont think 4 years will be enough to turn this country into what it use to be.
So we MUST get crackin on re-electing him.
I think 8 years of President Obama will do this country good.
In the eve of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and all he fought for. He must be watching from the heavens above how his hard work, after many years after his death, has been carried out and seen by all the land.
The struggle has never really been only about race, but about everyone who is different.
Be it skin color, sex, religion, or sexual orientation. We fight everyday to live in peace within ourselves.
This country carries a constitution where we are allowed NOT to be afraid of expressing our beliefs and opinions.
The struggle is less and less everyday and victory is within the horizon.
President Elect Barack Obama is a plain example of it.
Have Hope and Faith in yourself my people.

Planning events are a lot of hard work. Especially when it's your first one. But all we do, we do in love and we're pretty damn sure you're gonna like this one:

This could be a very very valid possibility.
New York has kept him hostage long enough and Boston is talking about bringing him on.
But is Mr. Marbury ready to sit bench while Rondo starts?
Cassell last year and Marbury this year?
With this slump the Celtics are goin through I can see why they might want the help but Marbury needs to understand that this is a Championship team without him.
So maybe press coverage after the game while he's getting dressed in the locker room will NOT be for him...but more for Garnett, Pierce, Rondo and Cassell.

The New Year's Day death of 22-year-old Oscar Grant in Oakland, California, led to violent protests in the area after several videos of the incident on a train station platform were uploaded onto the website. One clearly shows the shooting.
The officer, who has resigned from the force, has not been charged with any wrongdoing. Some experts have questioned whether he fired his gun deliberately or mistakenly believed he was using his stun gun instead.
The shooting unfolded in front of dozens of train passengers who were returning home after New Year's Eve celebrations. Police arrived shortly after midnight on New Year's Day at the Fruitvale Bay Area Rapid Transit station following reports of young men fighting on a train. Mr Grant was one of several who were ordered off the train, questioned and then restrained by transit police officer Johannes Mehserle, 27, and other officers.
Videos shot by onlookers on camera phones show Mr Grant being pushed onto his stomach shortly before Mehserle fired his gun at his back. The bullet ricocheted off a pavement and pierced his lung, killing him.
The victim's family claims that the officer shot him deliberately but some have argued that he may have thought he was firing his stun gun.

Dude is riding the train just like everyone else...even if they DID have a reason to take him off the train and question him he had NOOOOOO reason what so ever to pull out a firearm.
And dont give me that bullshit about him thinking it was a stun gun...Im sure dude has been on the force long enough to distinguish the feeling of a gun and a stun gun in his hand. Im sure every cop does at some point.
Dont blame it on the "heat of the moment" because the man he shot was UNARMED.
And then he gets PAID LEAVE...decides to resign and gets off scott ass free. No charges. No nothing.

This isn't the way things work. Then you complain about people goin all crazy and causing riots in the streets. The city law enforcement has no one to blame but themselves for the riots.
Riots are caused because of injustices and wrongdoings. Outrage and Pain.
I understand things must be handled in a civilized and rightful manner, but when that cop decided to take a gun and shoot an unarmed man in the back...
you tell me..was he trying to work it out with this man in a civilized manner?

Last year the ladies of Female Sneaker Fiend in Miami came up with Heart and Sole.
Heart & Sole is an annual event promoting street wear, kicks, and music locally and globally. The first annual event, sponsored by Female Sneaker Fiend, Hi-Top Studio, Mama Clothing, Miss Crew, Dimepiece, Reason Clothing, Miss Wax, and Keepitclassic.com, had over 600 people in attendance.
This year is going to be even better.
